Any sexual act or behavior that a person does not consent to, is considered sexual misconduct. Today we would like to raise a sensitive issue. This time it’s about a well-known case. In late 2017, a large number of women came forward with allegations of sexual misconduct by Harvey Weinstein. It concerned several actors and former coworkers who accused him of rape, sexual misconduct, and intimidation. Harvey Weinstein, for those who don’t know, is a former film producer. He and his brother owned the company Miramax and later The Weinstein Company. They were known for producing big award-winning films. In this video, FRONTLINE looks into allegations that Harvey Weinstein harassed and assaulted dozens of women over the course of four decades. The film looks at the complex measures Weinstein and those around him tried to take to quiet his accusers, some of which date back to Weinstein’s early years.
