Episode 1: ‘ATM Jackpotting’: Episode one describes how ATMs were manipulated during the Carbanak operation and explains how security researcher Barnaby Jack first became aware of ATM vulnerabilities in 2010.
Episode 2: ‘Welcome to Taiwan’: The Carbanak Group attacks a bank in Taiwan and sends 22 money mules into the country. What they didn’t anticipate within a few hours the Taiwanese police publish surveillance pictures of all the money mules. The hunt begins.
Episode 3: ‘Suitcases full of money’: 19 money mules flee Taiwan, the rest are left in Taipei with several million dollars. The police get closer and closer.
Episode 4: ‘Arrest in a holiday paradise’: The Taiwanese police finds clues to the whereabouts of the head of the Carbanak group and coordinates with Europol. Can the group be stopped?
This series of four highlights the incredible journey of The Carbanak Group, from their successful robbery to the international hunt by the Taiwanese police and Europol who are determined to catch them, along with the missing money.
