Theranos, what seemed like one of the most ground breaking companies of the 21st century ended up being one of Silicon Valley’s greatest failures. How did Elizabeth Holmes manage to fool the world? In this video we find out the twisting rollercoaster of a story.

Elizabeth Holmes has long been seen as the female counterpart of Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk. At a young age, she decided to drop out of her studies at Stanford early to focus fully on her new company Theranos. The company became the promise of Silicon Valley, and many leading investors blindly relied on its entrepreneurial ability. However, the success story turned out to be a big lie and Holmes was taken to court. This week, she was found guilty of fraud by the US court and faces 80 years in prison. In this documentary, ColdFusion shows the rise and fall of her company and why the young ex-entrepreneur caused so much bad blood with her lies.
